Barrel-aged mead

Santa Fe honey fermented and aged six months in an ex-rum barrel.

750 ml · 13% abv · Out of stock right now

Mead — fermented honey — with six months in an ex-rum barrel: the barrel held rum before it held this.

The honey comes from our apiary at Santa Fe, in Veraguas — the same one La Gobernadora draws hers from.

750 ml, 13% abv.

Tasting note

Like a white wine, with ex-rum barrel and toasted oak notes. Dark rum underneath, caramel and vanilla.
